Mysore/Mysuru: Devotees of Ganesha, who are also environmentally conscious, face a dilemma: the idols are usually made of Plaster of Paris (PoP) and decorated with non-biodegradable paint. This year, Mysureans have an option that isn’t just environment friendly but also to bring more greenery to life.
Mysuru Ganesha Utsava Samiti in association with Karnataka State Pollution Control Board is organising a free workshop of making clay seed Ganesha idols on Aug.28 (Sunday) from 3 pm onwards at Madhava Krupa on JLB Road, Mysuru.
