Mysore/Mysuru: The State Health Department has settled the bills of 9,136 patients and released Rs. 22.14 crore to private hospitals for providing treatment to COVID-19 patients.

Medical Education Minister Dr. K. Sudhakar said that as on Aug.28, various private hospitals has treated 42,291 patients referred by the Government and hospitals have billed Rs. 169.55 crore out of which, the Department has settled 9,136 claims and has released Rs. 22.14 crore to various private hospitals.
