Mysuru: Apollo BGS Hospitals, Mysuru, hosted World Stroke Day with a yoga session held in front of Kote Anjaneya Swamy Temple located at Mysore Palace North Gate, here this morning. The event was aimed at raising awareness about stroke prevention, recognition and response. Stroke is one of the leading causes of death and disability worldwide, one of the most effective ways to reduce the risk of stroke is by staying physically active.
Former Indian Men’s Hockey Team Captain and Arjuna Awardee V.R. Raghunath graced the occasion, underscoring the importance of active lifestyle in preventing strokes. His presence motivated the participants to engage in physical activities, reinforcing the event’s message of health and wellbeing.
