Mysore/Mysuru: In a bid to control traffic on selected roads coming under Krishnaraja (KR) Traffic Police, City Police Commissioner Dr. Chandragupta on Aug. 30 has issued an order pertaining to ‘Parking’ and ‘No Parking’ on New Kantharaj Urs Road.
The said road comes under KR Traffic Police limits and also under Saraswathipuram Police (Law and Order). As New Kantharaj Urs Road comprises commercial complexes and other business establishments, the density of traffic has been increasing day by day. Also, vehicles are being parked in a haphazard manner on both sides of the road, it was causing problems for the smooth movement of vehicles. Hence, the City Top Cop has issued guidelines on parking on the said road and has issued an order.
