Mysore/Mysuru: Dr. Purnima Madhivanan, Dr. Karl Krupp and Poornima Jayakrishna of city's Public Health Research Institute of India (PHRII), made presentations at the International Papillomavirus Conference in Washington DC, USA recently.
The conference with the theme “Coming Together for HPV Elimination” drew more than 2,000 scientists, students and leadership from NGOs, government and the private sector to share strategies for prevention of Human Papillomavirus (HPV) infection and their associated diseases, especially cervical cancer.
