N.R. Roopashri, a lecturer and a poetess of the city, has been selected for Sharada Ramalingappa Endowment Award (2019) instituted by Kannada Sahitya Parishat. Roopashri, an Economics Lecturer at Jayalakshmidevi PU College, Mysuru, has bagged the award for her work ‘Ninna Preetiya Neralalli.’ She has many other works to her credit. Earlier, she had bagged Gudibande Poornima Endowment Award.
