Mysuru: Bharath Hospital and Institute of Oncology (BHIO) and ClearMedi Radiant Hospital in city had organised separate events to observe World Cancer Day in city recently.

Bharath Hospital and Institute of Oncology had organised a torchlight parade in city to spread awareness about cancer causes, early detection and survivorship. About 600 students of Nursing Colleges took out a torchlight march which was flagged off from J.K. Grounds conveying the message on the ill-effects of tobacco usage in any form.
