Mysuru: Dr. A.K. Sateesh Rao, Consultant Gastroenterologist at Narayana Multispecialty Hospital, Mysuru, presented a paper at the Asian Pacific Digestive Week-2018 (APDW-2018) held recently at Seoul, South Korea.
The paper was a correlation between deranged LFT CBD calculi in patients with cholelithiasis. It showed about the chances of CBD calculi in patient who made ERCP. It was the only paper in the category from India that showed about the chance of bile duct calculi (stone) in gall bladder stone patients and highlighted the need of endoscopic ultrasound in these patients before ERCP Procedure.
