Mysuru: Dancer, art and culture promoter Yamuna Srinidhi from the city has bagged ‘Karnataka Women Achiever’s Award - 2018' for her work in the field of art and culture in India and USA. She was conferred the award at Hotel Taj in Bengaluru, recently.
Yamuna also is a popular movie and TV actor having done 12 serials and 22 movies with the leading actors from the Kannada movie industry. She teaches dance to the financially under privileged kids in the rural areas. She is creating a cultural bridge between US and India by conducting workshop, master seminars so the students can learn the art right from the source.
