Mysuru: A team of 15 Corporators, representing Mysuru City Corporation (MCC), are on a tour to study other Corporations. They have left the city on Aug. 8 along with Govindappa, a development officer.
The Corporators are on a tour to three City Corporations — Hubballi-Dharwad, Vijayapura and Ballari — to witness the best practices followed there and share the best works done by them to improve the civic amenities in Mysuru. Sources told Star of Mysore that the Corporators will discuss administrative as well as financial matters. Issues like yearly budget planning and allocation, maintenance of slaughter houses, cleanliness, waste segregation and disposal are on the agenda.
