Mysuru: Mysuru-based athletes Anjali Gupta and Kajal Naresh Kumar took part in an International Mixed Martial Arts event - Rampage MMA held in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia recently, which was organised by Sabah Top Team and sanctioned by Sabah Luta Livre Association. Both the athletes train at Genesis Mixed Martial Arts, Mysuru, under Samith Bhat. These athletes along with others in the team will compete in forthcoming National kickboxing championship to be held in Patna later this month. Results: Kajal Naresh (Fly weight) won her International debut via a technical Knockout in the second round of the bout against Jesse representing Malaysia. Anjali Gupta (Feather weight) fought all three rounds and lost via a split decision against Vellierre who represented Malaysia.
