Buoyed by the success of its modern public toilet facility atop Chamundi Hill, the Mysuru Chapter of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has come forward to rejuvenate four lakes in Mysuru at a cost of Rs. 90 lakh. The rejuvenation will be taken up under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities.
At a meeting on CSR activities that was held at the Deputy Commissioner’s office recently, DC D. Randeep gave his approval for rejuvenation. Funds for the project will be provided by Automotive Axles, JK Tyres and Rane Group (Madras). Under the project, Devikere atop Chamundi Hill, Thavarekere near the Ring Road, Thippaiahanakatte and Kempammanakatte Lakes will be given a new lease of life.
