Mysore/Mysuru: In a joint effort to make Mysuru a more tourist-friendly city, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Mysuru, in partnership with the Mysuru City Police, organised an event aimed at promoting road safety awareness and fostering respect for the driving profession. The event, held on Sept. 13 at Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE), addressed critical topics including road safety guidelines, work effectiveness and the significance of respecting the driving profession for city bus drivers, conductors and coordinators.
The event’s focus on a holistic approach to road safety encompassed essential subjects such as behavioural approaches, defensive driving, road safety compliances, visual basics, drivers’ attitudes and lifestyles, along with technical aspects.
