Mysore/Mysuru: Tharanallur Satheesan Namboodiripad, Chief Priest of Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram, visited Sri Brahmatantra Swatantra Parakala Swami Mutt in Mysuru yesterday and sought the blessings of the deity Sri Lakshmi Hayagreeva Swamy and Mutt Pontiff Sri Abhinava Vageesa Brahmatantra Swatantra Parakala Swami.
It is believed that Namboodiripad’s family was invited by Lord Parashuram to Kerala and the puja rituals were performed according to inscriptions in Parashurama Sanhitha.
Satheesan Namboodiripad also visited Sri Bhoo Varahaswamy Temple at Kallahalli and appreciated the development works being taken up there.
Parakala Mutt Administrative Officer Srinivas Raghavan, Akash, Mukunda, T.S. Arun, Rakshith, Srivatsa were present.
