Mysuru: Dismissing charges of money-laundering and benami property transactions against his son Dr. Yathindra Siddharamaiah, Chief Minister Siddharamaiah has said that the complaint filed with the IT Department seeking a probe against his son was politically motivated. Speaking to press persons at his Ramakrishnanagar residence here this morning, the CM said that he had never heard the name of the complainant Varthur Kanakadasa, who is said to be an RTI activist.
Pointing out that his son Dr. Yathindra had travelled abroad only once, he wondered whether it was possible for a person to invest abroad on his/her first visit, while dismissing all charges made in the complaint against his son.
