The State Government on Saturday appointed N.C. Srinivas as the State’s Chief Information Commissioner (CIC). At the same time, the Government also named S.M. Somashekar and K.P. Manjunath as Information Commissioners. Srinivas had served as a Judge at Hasan and Mandya, before retiring as the Law Department Secretary. S.M. Somashekar is a retired IFS officer and K.P. Manjunath is an advocate from Shikaripura, according to Information Commission sources.
