In the eighth round, K.A. Meenakshi (Andhra Pradesh) beat Sara to emerge as the leader with eight points from eight rounds. Anjana (TN), Bhavya Joshi (MP) and Lakshan Subramanian (TN) with seven points are placed from second to fourth respectively in the placings.
