Post Dasara, the Chamundeshwari Rathotsava will take place atop Chamundi Hill on Oct.13 (Sunday). The Ratharohana will take place in the auspicious Tula Lagna between 6.30 am and 7.15 am. The associated rituals – Mantapotsava, Simhavahanotsava and Hamsavahanotsava will take place later in the evening on the same day. The Chamundeshwari Teppotsava will be held at Devikere atop the Hill at 6.30 pm on Oct.15 (Tuesday), according to Chamundeshwari Temple Executive Officer Yathiraj Sampathkumaran.
