The Chamundi Hill Steps climbing competition organised by Ganeshostava Committee of Jana Jagarana Trust will held on Aug. 20 between 6 am and 3 pm. The entry fee for the competition is Rs. 50 and first 101 winners both men and women will be given prizes. Only those above 12 years will be allowed to participate. Spot entries are also allowed. The committee has also organised chukki rangoli competition for women on Aug. 19 at 4 pm followed by cultural programme and prize distribution on Aug. 26 at 5 pm at the Madhava Krupa on JLB Road. Special puja to Lord Ganesha will be held on Aug. 27 at 9 pm after which the prasadam will be distributed to the devotees. Prior to this, 108 couple will take part in the Ganahoma to be held for the well being of our soldiers at 12.30 pm.
