Chamarajanagar SP Kuldeep Kumar R. Jain escaped unhurt when a Tata Sumo vehicle rammed into his car near Yedathore Gate in the taluk yesterday evening.
It is reported that the SP was on his way to Mysuru on official work in his official vehicle and when the vehicle approached Yedathore Gate, a Tata Sumo coming from Rangasamudra side, rammed into the SP’s vehicle damaging its front portion badly. Luckily, the SP escaped unhurt but some persons who were travelling in the Tata Sumo have sustained minor injuries. T.N. Pur Police, who rushed to the spot on receiving information, have registered a case and are investigating.
