Mysuru: The Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) has begun the process of restoring the damaged portions of the heritage Chamaraja Wadiyar Circle on Albert Victor Road, facing the North Gate of the Mysore Palace.
A speeding vehicle had recently hit the Circle compound and damaged the lamp post and railings. The damage came to light when District Heritage Committee members were surveying the condition of heritage Circles. Later, the Committee members informed Mayor Shivakumar who had directed the MCC engineers and staff to take up the restoration works on priority.
