Mysuru: Stating that Chamaraja Assembly segment is a strong hold of JD(S), MLC K.T. Srikantegowda has asserted that JD(S) candidate Prof. K.S. Rangappa was going to win the seat in the forthcoming Assembly polls. Speaking at the party’s public contact (Janasamparka) programme at Kamadhenu Kalyana Mantap behind ESI Hospital on KRS Road here yesterday, he said that the JD(S) has a strong presence in the district, having gained control of the MCC, ZP and TP. Claiming that there was a wave in favour of JD(S) State President and former CM H.D. Kumaraswamy, Srikantegowda reiterated that Prof. Rangappa’s victory was certain in Chamaraja Constituency.
Former UoM and KSOU Vice-Chancellor and JD(S) candidate from Chamaraja Constituency Prof. K.S. Rangappa, in his address, said that H.D. Kumaraswamy had many ideas to address agrarian, unemployment and other such issues which have been haunting the State.
