cHa Cha cHa - 2019 is an event that is centred on the idea of ‘practice.’ The entire festival is focused on those individuals who are ‘practicing’ art as a way of life or even means of life; on a daily basis. This event primarily aims to present artistic practices which may or may not fit directly into the popular notion of art/artist. That being said, it will also engage with popular mediums such as Painting and Sculpture. cHa Cha cHa event will host art exhibitions, art classes, artistic workshops, musical and theatre performances. Overall, cHa Cha cHa is an idea that resonates, accommodates and shelters all forms of practices to bring them out into the public sphere so as to enable a dialogue that contributes to larger cultural discourse.
