Mysore/Mysuru: Faced with opposition by elected representatives over CESC’s action of disconnecting power of power bill defaulters under its jurisdiction, the State-owned Electricity Company has come forward to convince the elected representatives on recovery of pending power bill dues which has run up to hundreds of crores of rupees.
Defending the CESC officials action of cutting off power at Alambur village in Nanjangud taluk for non-payment of bills, CESC Managing Director Jayavibhavaswamy said that CESC officials and Engineers have been asked to meet the Legislator and other elected representatives of their respective area and apprise them of facts and also seek their co-operation for recovery of pending dues.
