Mysore/Mysuru: Directorate of Child Protection, Department of Women and Child Development have invited applications from children aged between 6 and 18 years to avail financial aid provided under the Central Government-sponsored Programmes.
Children who have single parent, HIV affected, leprosy and afflicted with any other major diseases or whose parents are lodged in jails may apply. They will get Rs. 1,000 monthly for three years as financial aid from the District Child Protection Unit. The annual income of the family of the children must not exceed more than Rs. 1,20,000.
