Madikeri: Congress spokesperson and Supreme Court Advocate Brijesh Kalappa, who is representing Karnataka in the final hearing on the contentious Cauvery River dispute at the Supreme Court, said that the decision on the Cauvery water dispute is likely to come either in the end of this year or in January next year.
Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, he said that the dispute regarding the sharing of Cauvery water between Karnataka and Tamil Nadu has been going on since several years. The Supreme Court has viewed the dispute very seriously and hence has set aside three days in a week for this contentious issue.
