Mysuru: The Mysuru Zilla Cauvery Kriya Samiti has welcomed the Supreme Court’s order awarding more Cauvery water to Karnataka. In a press release, the Kriya Samiti Convenor and Kannada activist Thayur Vittalamurthy said that the Supreme Court’s order was a victory for the relentless struggle by Kannada and Farmer organisations of the State demanding a rightful share of Cauvery water. Vittalamurthy has thanked all Kannada organisations, students and Kannada activists for taking part in the struggle for Cauvery water.
