New Delhi: The Cauvery Water Management Authority set up by the Union Ministry of Water Resources to resolve the inter-State water dispute will have its first meeting on July 2. The meeting will take place in Central Water Commission’s headquarters, New Delhi.
The meeting will be led by CWC Chairman S. Masood Husain, nominated by the Ministry as Chairman of the Authority. The agenda of the meeting states that issues requiring immediate attention will be discussed, including direction to the Cauvery Water Regulation Committee, a technical arm of the Authority.
