Mysuru: Devaraja Police have registered an FIR against Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Anant Kumar Hegde for his alleged remarks against Chief Minister Siddharamaiah. The Mysuru District Congress, taking strong exception to the Union Minister’s derogatory remarks against Siddharamaiah at a BJP public rally at Kothur in Belagavi district recently, had petitioned the District Court seeking registration of a case against the Union Minister. The Court, which heard the petition, directed Devaraja Police to register the complaint, following which Devaraja Police filed an FIR against Anant Kumar Hegde under sections 153/A and 504 of IPC, it is learnt.
