Car-scooter collision kills two in H.D. Kote

H.D. Kote: Two scooterist were killed when the scooter they were travelling collided head on with a car near Sogahalli Gate on Mysuru-Manandavadi Road in the taluk this morning. The deceased have been identified as Doreswamy (55), a contractor from H.D. Kote and Ravi (26), a tractor-driver Savvemala in the taluk. The two were travelling on TVS scooty from H.D. Kote, when a speeding car (KL-36 C-4057) coming from Manandavadi side knocked down the scooter near Sogahalli Gate at about 7.30 am. While Doreswamy died at the spot, Ravi, who sustained serious injuries, breathed his last at H.D. Kote hospital some time later, it is learnt. Beechanahalli Police have registered a case in this regard.
