Mysore/Mysuru: According to the District Electoral Officer and Deputy Commissioner Dr. K.V. Rajendra, candidates in the election can open booths at a minimum distance of 200 metres from polling stations with two chairs, one table and a 3x4 ½ ft. banner with permission from the Election Officer and local authority.
However, campaigning is prohibited and candidates are only allowed to issue voter slips containing the part number, roll number and name of the voter, without any symbols or candidate names.
