The Co-operation Department has appointed the Senior Inspector of Co-operative Societies as the Liquidation Officer to Marimallappa Educational Institutions Employees Housing Co-operative Society as the Society has ceased functioning for long. As no petitions were received on reviving the Society from either the Members of the Society or the public, the Department has started the process for cancelling the Society’s registration, for which it has invited objections, if any, in writing within 15 days. The Society’s registration will be cancelled if no objections are received within this period.
