The Department of Handlooms and Textiles has invited applications from weavers belonging to general category for both manual handloom and electronic handlooms. The Department will be providing 75 percent subsidy for installing electronic jacquard and pneumatic for handlooms and 50 percent subsidy for purchase of rapier loom and two electric looms. Interested can visit the Office of the Deputy Director, Department of Handloom and Textiles, CTI Building, Sayyaji Rao Road and collect the applications within June 20. Last date for submitting the filled-in applications is June 24. For details, contact Ph: 0821-2441353.
