Mysore/Mysuru: Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maan-Dhan (PM-SYM) is social welfare scheme launched by the Ministry of Labour and Employment of Government of India in February 2019 for poor labourers in the unorganised sector from minimum 18 years of age to maximum 40 years.
Unorganized workers including home-based workers, street vendors, mid-day meal workers, porters, brick kiln workers, cobblers, rag pickers, domestic helpers, washer men, auto rickshaw drivers, landless labourers, agricultural workers, construction workers or others in such occupations can subscribe to the PM-SYM pension scheme.
