Mysuru: The Department of Social Welfare will provide scholarship and fund the entire fees for students of SC/ST community selected for various nursing courses for the year 2018-19. Students will be selected to study Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (DGNM), Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (P.B.B.Sc) and two-year M.Sc., nursing course.
They will be enrolled at authorised Nursing Schools recognised by Karnataka State Nursing Council, All India Nursing Council, and other statutory bodies. The Department will release the fees directly to the Nursing Schools after the enrolment as per the government norms till the completion of their course.
