Mysore/Mysuru: The Department of Handlooms and Textiles has invited applications from handloom weavers who were pushed to a lot of hardship and distress due to COVID-19-induced lockdown, for seeking financial help (Rs.2,000) from the Government. The applicants must be residents of Karnataka and should be a Pehchan Card holder, issued by the Government of India to all weavers registered under the Fourth National Handloom Census.
The affected weavers can collect the prescribed application form from the Department Office located in CTI (Chamarajendra Technical Institute) Building on Sayyaji Rao Road and submit the same along with required documents before June 20. For details, contact Ph: 0821-2441353 or 2422322.
