Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Yojana, the district administration has invited applications from farmers who own as little as 0.02 guntas of land, to be covered under the scheme. Under the scheme, the Union Government will directly credit Rs. 6,000 to the bank account of farmers, for which the farmers have to submit documents such as Aadhaar card, bank passbook copy, land survey number etc., at their nearest Raitha Samparka Kendra, Naada Kacheri, Gram Panchayat or Village Accountant offices, according to a press release from Mysuru Taluk Tahsildar T. Ramesh Babu.
