Additional Deputy Commissioner Dr. B.S. Manjunathaswamy has, in a press release, invited applications from the families of COVID victims to avail compensation provided by the State Government. Rs. 50,000 from the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) will be provided to all those families of COVID victims.

The applications must be submitted along with copies of records such as COVID positive report issued by a listed Lab, Clinical Radiology reports, treatment reports and other Lab reports, certified by the Taluk or District Health Officer. Also, the applicants must attach a copy of Aadhaar card of the deceased, Death Certificate, a copy of ration card and Bank Passbook of the applicant, a self-declaration Form (Form-2) and a No-objection Certificate (Form-3) signed by all members of the deceased family. Applications may be submitted at the Taluk Office before Aug. 23, the ADC said.
