As part of its nationwide campaign against CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act), NRC (National Register of Citizens) and NPR (National Population Register), the Mysuru City and District Congress will be conducting an awareness seminar at the Congress Bhavan near City Railway Station here at 11 am on Feb.2. Announcing this at a press meet at Congress Bhavan here, senior Congress leader and former Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa said that the seminar is aimed at sensitising people on the flaws and dangers of these laws that are enacted by the BJP led Government at the Centre. Former Supreme Court Judge Justice Gopalagowda will inaugurate the seminar at 11 am tomorrow. Former Chief Minister Siddharamaiah will preside. Senior High Court advocate Prof. Raviverma Kumar will be the main speaker at the seminar, in which activists, professionals and other noted personalities will take part, he said.
