bus shelter needed on mysuru-n

Sir, A bus shelter near Devaraj Urs bridge (over Kabini river) junction on Mysuru-Nanjangud Highway leading to Industrial Estate, is very much needed to help passengers stay well-covered against rain and scorching sun, especially during noon. There are no trees in the vicinity either to take refuge from nature’s fury.  Naturally people stand little away from the bus stop, only to run when any bus comes along, risking themselves and others too in the process. Shelters therefore are very much needed. The triangular space adjoining the junction here is well-suited to construct one, while another on the opposite side is also required for people travelling towards the town. Now that many MNCs have come up in the Industrial Estate, traffic density is on the rise with each passing day. I appeal to the authorities concerned to look into this civic need and help the travellers. Industries surrounding the area may also contribute to the cause, as part of their CSR.
