Kollegal: Two persons were killed on the spot, while another sustained serious injuries when a private bus rammed into the bike they were riding near Madhuvanahalli village in the taluk recently.
The deceased have been identified as Abhishek and Preetham while the injured is Manu, all residents of Madhuvanahalli village. The trio were proceeding on a bike from Kollegal to their village when the private bus, which came from Coimbatore side rammed into the bike killing Abhishek and Preetham on the spot. Kollegal Rural Police have registered a case.
