Mysuru: It is the responsibility of youngsters in Brahmin community to continue with the legacy and work for the existence of the community, said Chamundi Hill Temple Chief Priest Dr. Shashishekar Dixit. He was speaking after inaugurating a seminar on ‘Purohits and Agamikas’ organised by Mysuru Zilla Brahmana Yuva Vedike as part of its first anniversary celebrations at Kalyan Bhavan on Thyagaraja Road here yesterday. Calling on Brahmin youths to study Vedas and Upanishads for the survival of Sanathana dharma, he urged the youths working as purohits to enter the mainstream and added that there was a great demand for qualified purohits in foreign countries.
