Maddur: A 13-year-old boy was killed, while the man behind the wheels of a car sustained serious injuries, when the car in which they were travelling rammed into a tipper vehicle on Bengaluru-Mysuru Highway near Gejjalagere Industrial Area in the taluk yesterday. While the deceased boy has been identified as Harsha, a resident of Chamundeshwari Nagar in Mandya, the injured person is Suresh.
A native of Chottanahalli village in Channapatna, Suresh, who was working as an Engineer, was residing at Chamundeshwari Nagar in Mandya. Suresh, who had gone to his native place, was returning to Mandya when the accident took place.
