Karnataka State Bikku Association, various Bouddha, Ambedkar Associations and Vishwa Maithri Bouddha Vihara have jointly organised ‘Bouddha Maha Sammelana’ at Maharaja’s College Grounds in city on Oct. 14 and 15, to mark the 70th anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar embracing Buddhism, said former Mysuru Mayor and Vishwa Maithri Bouddha Vihara Convenor V. Purushotham. About 30,000 Buddhist Monks from across the State, country and abroad are expected to participate.
