Mysuru: At a time when the Krishna Raja Sagar (KRS) Dam that supplies drinking water to Mysuru is only 111.24 ft full as against its maximum level of 124.80 ft and at a time when the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) is asking residents to spend water cautiously, gallons of water is being wasted and no action has been taken despite a complaint.
Water is leaking from a borewell on the K.C. Layout Main Road inside a park in city since the last 13 days or so. Noticing this, Star of Mysore contacted the MCC helpline 94498-41196 and reported the issue on Oct. 6 at around 9 am.
