As part of Basava Jayanti celebrations, Basava Balagagala Okkuta, Mysuru, has organised releasing of the books ‘Mahamanavatavadi Basavanna’ and ‘Veeravairagya Nidhi Allama Prabhu,’ authored by senior artist & writer L. Shivalingappa, at the Government Guest House (near Mini Vidhana Soudha) in Nazarbad today (May 5) at 6 pm. Union Railway Minister V. Somanna will release the books. Retd. Chairman of Kuvempu Bhasa Bharati Pradhikara Dr. Pradhan Gurudatta will speak about the books. Senior artist and writer L. Shivalingappa will be present. Basava Balagagala Okkuta President M. Chandrashekar will deliver the keynote address.
