Bank Note Paper Mill India Private Limited (BNPMIPL), Mysuru, under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity, has donated Rs. 70 lakh to Mysuru Zoo for the construction of Orangutan enclosures. Mysuru Zoo, which is self- sustaining, had taken up only important developmental works during 2020-21 following COVID-19 pandemic and had decided to build enclosures for Orangutans which are to be procured from Singapore Zoo under Animal Exchange Programme. As the Zoo had sought donations for the construction, BNPMIPL, under its CSR initiative donated Rs. 70 lakh to Mysuru Zoo.
