Mysuru:In the backdrop of house and site owners refraining to buy the ‘bit of land’ adjoining residential sites and corner sites, terming the selling price as exorbitant, the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) has revised the prices of such ‘bit of land.’
The ‘bit of land’ adjoining residential sites will now be allotted to site and house owners at one-and-a-half times the price stipulated by the Sub-Registrar’s Office, said MUDA Commissioner Dr. M. Mahesh. This reduction will benefit thousands of site owners who come from lower and middle class families who have so far backtracked from buying the land, though it was adjacent to their properties, as it was expensive.
