To encourage and commemorate women achievers for their prodigious accomplishments, Beyond Taalas, a city-based dance studio, along with MID Studios, Mysuru and Forum Centre City, has organised Women’s Day celebrations and award ceremony at Forum Centre City here tomorrow (Mar.8) from 5.30 pm onwards. Achievers in various fields will be honoured for their feats at the event. Also, a special beauty pageant has been organised on the occasion. Actress Shwetha Srivastava will be the face of the event. The awardees are Dr. Aisha M. Sheriff (Education), Dr. Sunitha Chandrakumar (Singer and Music Director), Nandini Murthy (Wellness and Nutrition), Dr. Sheela Sridhar (Classical Dancer), Saroja Hegde (Theatre Artiste), Prof. Umadevi (Literature), Shashikala Ashok (Culture and Tourism), Priyadarshini (Assistant Commissioner of Mysuru City Corporation), Pooja Ravindra (Social Entrepreneur) and Masuma Vagh (Social Service and Motivational Speaker).
