Inspiring batting performances by openers Siddesh Kishor Wath (108, 102b, 13x4, 2x6) and Atharva Yayati Taide (79,108b,7x4, 1x6), helped Vidarbha to register a 25-run win over Maharashtra in the BCCI Men's U-23 One-Day Tournament ‘Plate A’ match played at JSS-SJCE Grounds, here yesterday.
Batting first, Vidarbha posted a good total of 290 for seven in 50 overs. Openers Siddesh Kishor Wath (108) and Atharva Yayati Taide (79) gave them a solid start by adding 189-runs for the opening wicket. Digvijay Rajkumar Deshmukh impressed with three for 63 for Maharashtra.
